A brief update for Sunday 02.25.18

We enjoyed a wonderful Lord's Day today! We started out the day with 55 precious children in our Sunday School class. They are continuing to learn the new songs that I have been teaching them & the books of the NT. We also reviewed the books of the OT with them. They heard the story of Jesus raising Jarius' daughter from the dead. We have seen an increase this month in children saying the memory verse. We are thrilled at this because they are hiding God's Word in their hearts! We have had some kids memorize it this month that have never memorized a Bible verse in the past!
We had 18 people in the morning service. Ms. Emily returned again to all the services. She has the joy of the Lord. Emer returned to the morning service. Lot's mother Luring also returned to the morning service. Please continue to pray for EMER & LURING to get saved!
We concluded with our afternoon service where we continued our study of 1 John.
Bambi requested that my husband do a Bible study with her brother Wendell & her close friend Mercy. (Mercy is one of the ladies that came to our ladies time of prayer & day out a couple weeks ago.) We are THRILLED that Wendell & Mercy both acknowledged their need for Christ & placed their faith in Him last night at the Bible study! To God be ALL the glory! He has truy done & continues to do great things!!
We would appreciate your continued prayers on behalf of the work & people here. Please pray for wisdom, strength, & health for the people here. We had several people out today due to sickness in their families.
Thank you for all your love, prayers, & care for the ministry here .  We love hearing people say that they are praying for the ministry here. We do NOT take that lightly. Please pray for us.

Last Sunday (02/18/2018) This was what our AM crowd looked like - a quick photo was taken by my wife during the start of the invitation - just wanted to share this with you.

Emer stayed for the AM service today (02/15/18) (again - he really has been faithfully attending the morning services for about four Sundays now. What a blessing. He really did lent an ear to God's Word this morning. HA!
