Pastor Chris Starr, my sending church pastor (and also, he happens to be my brother-in-law, too) asked me to teach two sessions on the doctrine of Verbal Preservation in the New Testament in the School of Theology. It was a joy to be able to spend time with eager students and auditors and to go over an introduction and sample arguments from the book of Matthew. You may access the lecture series on our YouTube Channel, the following are respective links to parts 1 & 2. As usual, since these are YouTube videos, it would be nice if you would hit the like, and subscribe button and click also on the notification icon. And now, on to the lectures.
We praise and thank God for His promises to keep His words, and for the fact that we have a highly accurate and faithful translation of the received texts that represents God's verbally preserved words in our King James Bible. Glory to God!
Rev. 1:3 - "Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand."
