Some thoughts on Thanksgiving (part 3)

And when ye will offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving unto the LORD, offer it at your own will.” (Leviticus 22:29)

God has made provisions even in the Old Testament dispensation of the Law for an individual to express their thanksgiving. The Lord gave them great liberty in expressing their thankfulness towards His mercies, abundance, protection and blessings. As Christians, we should take great liberties in expressing to God our thankfulness for who He is and what He has done for us. What form will your thanksgiving sacrifice be this season?

Its thanksgiving and there is fun and frolic all over but in all these merrymaking let us not forget the real purpose of the occasion. Lets all kneel and thank God for all that He has showered on us and for this beautiful life that he has graced us with. On this note I'd request you to visit my Thanksgiving Blog and share the spirit of Thanksgiving.
